Telecom Luxembourg International acquires SD1 Telecom

The European telecom Telecom Luxembourg International (TLI) will acquire the Belgian telecom operator, SD1 Telecom (SD1), for an undisclosed amount.
“The acquisition of SD1 by TLI is an important step in our company’s journey and the acquisition is a logical next step and a great opportunity in the development of our portfolio of services for our customers and partners”, declared Julien Doussot CEO of Telecom Luxembourg International.
Once completed, this acquisition will strengthen TLI’s position in Belgium as well as the provision of Internet and connectivity services to its corporate customers and its community of service provider partners.
âThe TLI network will open up a broader opportunity of global reach and scalability for our customers and partners,â added Philippe Magidson, Managing Partner of SD1.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, companies are accelerating their digital transformation process as they need to secure their networks and make them ready to use for remote work. The combination of SD1’s network with TLI’s capabilities is designed to create greater synergy for its businesses and customers.
