13-year-old South African prodigy Riley Swarts continues to impress abroad as he just won his first junior trophies with new Belgian club KRC Genk.

He also scored in one of the games with a phenomenal shot from close range after putting on a fantastic run away from home before his teammate selected him with an overhead ball at the right time.
The youngster looks set to set the world on fire with his impressive skills and flair and will look to emulate the success of former Genk Academy star Kevin De Bruyne, who is now arguably the best creative midfielder in the world. .
The late Anele Ngcongca has made 174 appearances for the Belgian squad, while several notable stars have grown through the Genk Academy system, including former and current Premier League stars such as Leicester City’s Dennis Praet , Christian Benteke of Crystal Palace, Leandro Trossard of Brighton & Hove Albion, as well as Real Madrid goalkeeper and former Chelsea star Thibaut Courtois.
We also hope that the youngster will one day represent Bafana Bafana as he is originally from the Netherlands but with a South African lineage. Depending on the length of his stay in Belgium, the talented prospect might even be eligible to represent Belgium if he stays long enough to acquire the country’s nationality.
