Quan Hapa

Less than two months after it reopened, Quan Hapa closed again.

The Lang Thang group announced in a Facebook post on January 5 that its Asian Over-the-Rhine gastro pub will be closed indefinitely due to staff issues and other issues related to the pandemic.

Quan Hapa closed in October 2021 for renovations and refreshment, reopening on November 17th.

In the post, the group said they have had a tough few months since reopening and several of their staff, who they already say are small, have made “a trip to the Reserve / Covid List”.

“We have made the difficult decision to suspend Quan Hapa at this time to reassign staff and adjust some food / services / operations items to make Quan Hapa even better when we can reopen,” the group wrote.

The group says it does not have a timetable for the restaurant to reopen. However, they say all available Quan Hapa staff will work at the group’s other restaurant, Pho Lang Thang, which will now be expanding their hours.

From January 11, Pho Lang Thang will be open Tuesday through Sunday for lunch and dinner will now be served Thursday through Saturday.

Pho Lang Thang is located at 1828 Race St. in Over-the-Rhine. Find more information on pholangthang.com.
