New CCO at Omni; More people on the move

Omni Hotels & Resorts has appointed a new Commercial Director, while Enseo has added a new President.

Palli joins Omni
Omni Hotels & Resorts has appointed Peter Palli as the new Commercial Director.

He is responsible for all revenue generation efforts in the areas of sales, marketing, revenue management, distribution and analytics, as well as Omni customer contact center operations.

A travel and hospitality veteran with 25 years of experience, Palli joins Omni after serving as Vice President of Signature Aviation, where he served as Vice President of Revenue Management and analysis, leading efforts to digitize business operations.

After starting his hospitality career in his native Austria, Palli joined Hilton in 1998 and, over a two-decade period with the company, rose from operational roles at various hotels in the Hilton portfolio to corporate technological and commercial management positions, including vice-president, distribution and business solutions.

Enseo appoints Singleton President / CIO
Technology services provider Enseo has promoted Kristen Singleton to president. She joined Enseo as CIO in 2020 and will continue to hold this position in addition to her new role as President.

Singleton has spent his career defining technology strategies that drive bottom line growth and achieve business goals, according to the company. A 30-year tech industry veteran, she has over a decade of gaming, hospitality and travel experience, and has held CIO positions for companies such as Omni Hotels & Resorts, The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants and International Cruise & Excursions (ICE).

Raines promotes Myers
Raines, a hospitality management, development and investment group, recently appointed Kristen Myers as vice president of investments.

In this new specialist role, she is responsible for the company’s investment and capital activities, focusing on developing an investment thesis for each of Raines’ projects while managing investor relations, investment analysis and underwriting.

A long-time member of the Raines team, Myers has held key leadership roles since joining the organization in March 2015. After serving as Vice President of Development for five years, she rose to a role. Vice President to oversee Raines’ long-term trajectory in guiding the business through a rebranding and expansion of offerings earlier this year. During this time, she also managed Raines’ insurance portfolio and the launch of its IMS platform, while playing a key leadership role in development.

As Raines continued to grow, Myers, along with other members of the leadership team, identified an opportunity to improve and nurture its investor relations infrastructure. Based on her experience and skills, she was identified as the ideal person for the job. As she develops an investment thesis for each project, she will perform market research, proforma modeling, site acquisition, franchise negotiation, equity / debt financing, underwriting and more. In addition to these responsibilities, she will focus on innovating the investor experience, focusing on communication and relationship building with the company’s selective group of investors.

Mallia promoted to Dream Hotel Group
Dream Hotel Group has promoted Robert R. Mallia to Vice President, Architecture and Construction. He has been with the company for 10 years.

In his new role, he oversees architectural and construction planning efforts for all of the Dream Hotel Group properties around the world. Its main areas of intervention include pre-construction drawings, programming review, building codes, zoning analysis, monitoring of construction and renovation budgets, schedules, procurement, l ‘overseas procurement and quality control, review of construction contracts and ultimately the successful handover of the project.

Mallia joined the company as an architectural director in 2011, bringing deep knowledge and global expertise to the company. Prior to Dream, he was engaged with Manhattan-based architectural firm WQB Architecture PLLC, working on numerous hotel and residential projects around the world, including the first location of Dream Hotel Group’s five-star luxury brand, the reimagination directed by Thierry W. Despont. from the Lambs Club to Chatwal New York, with Mallia as architectural project manager.

During his 10-year tenure with Dream Hotel Group, he oversaw several construction and renovation projects across all of the group’s properties in New York City, as well as the pre-construction stages of hotels further afield in California, USA. Texas and Belgium.

Wellengood Partners appoints Stokes
Wellengood Partners has appointed Danielle Stokes as Vice President of Hotel Development.

She now assesses and pursues new development opportunities, negotiates contracts, manages FF&E procurement and cost control and more. Additionally, she led the public relations, social media and marketing efforts of the hospitality development and management company.

With 17 years of experience in underwater development, Stokes served as Executive Director of Safe Harbor Development, where she also oversaw real estate and development; Vice President, Real Estate at Natural Markets Food Group; and helped Earth Fare grow its real estate footprint as a consultant.
