ALD Automotive launches corporate leasing for Tesla

ALD Automotive now offers Tesla leasing services in 16 European countries. Businesses can take advantage of ALD Automotive’s full-service rental packages for the 3, Y, S, and X models.

According to the leasing company, it is “Tesla’s preferred operational leasing partner across Europe”. ALD offers full-service leasing packages for businesses and small and medium-sized businesses. In the short term, however, only the 3 and Y models are available in practice – according to the Tesla configurator, the delivery deadline for the revised S and X models is mid-2022.

In addition to the monthly payment for the vehicle itself, the full service rental agreement covers tire changes, roadside assistance, insurance and maintenance. For the latter, ALD Automotive mentions Tesla locations and mobile service in the ad, but not independent workshops.

ALD Automotive does not specify the range of monthly rates for the long-term rental of the four Tesla series in the communication, also referring to the flexible terms and mileage of the rental. The full-service lease for commercial customers is not yet listed on Tesla’s website. In the configurator, at the time of publishing this article, there are still the usual three options for business customers: bank transfer, business leasing and balloon loan – the last two financing options are handled by Santander Consumer Bank.

The 16 countries are Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Ireland, Italy, Finland, France, Germany, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. In France, Finland, Ireland, the Netherlands and Denmark, long-term rental is also available to individuals.

“We are proud to present this new flexible rental offering for Tesla electric vehicles to customers across Europe,” said John Saffrett, vice president of ALD Automotive. “This contributes to our sustainable growth strategy as a key player in the energy transition and supports our commitment to innovative mobility solutions. “

ALD Automotive is a subsidiary of the large French bank Societe Generale. Globally, the company claims to manage more than 1.76 million vehicles in 43 countries. In the field of electric mobility, there is already cooperation with Polestar, among others.
