AAGREEMENT ON THE SALE OF PRODUCTIVE AACTIVITIES AREA DE CITY DOX

ATENOR announces that an agreement has been reached with a private actor for the sale of 2,320 m2 spaces dedicated to the productive activities of lot 3 of the City Dox project in Anderlecht. These spaces, whose construction is being finalized, will be delivered in January 2022.
This sale will have a limited impact on ATENOR’s results but is presented as an exemplary mixed project carried out by ATENOR for 10 years.
As a reminder, faithful to its credo as a city actor, ATENOR committed in 2011 to transforming the former 5.4 ha industrial wasteland to develop a new mixed, multifunctional and multigenerational district.
Ideally located in Anderlecht, along the canal, at the entrance to the city, 5 minutes from the Midi station and major roads and a real small urban island, City Dox accommodates housing, a rest home, shops, liberal professions, businesses and soon a school, in lush greenery surrounded by parks and gardens.
The project is a real commercial success: the 344 apartments built have all been sold and the office spaces are occupied by renowned tenants such as UNILEVER and REGUS.
In addition, ATENOR responds through this project to a local demand for affordable housing. Thus, a third of the apartments in lot 3 were reserved for City Dev. The land in lot 4 with the permits for the construction of 163 apartments has also been sold to HOME INVEST BELGIUM which will offer them for rental.
Confident in the potential of this district, ATENOR continues the development of City Dox to make it a pioneer and sustainable district where everything has been designed to facilitate the quality of life and working conditions of occupants and residents: soft mobility, secure locations for bicycles, intelligent waste management, rainwater harvesting, photovoltaic panels, urban vegetable garden, community gardens and a public park.
Finally, this agreement once again confirms the confidence that renowned private investors have in the future of this new district by contributing to the renewal of the Canal zone.
